We are seeking to appoint a Lengua y Literatura and Spanish as a Foreign Language teacher. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge and good classroom skills with a desire to engage and motivate pupils using effective methods of teaching, embracing the use of interactive teaching methods and ICT.

The successful applicant will have:
Licenciatura en Filología Hispánica or Lengua y Literatura from a Spanish University.
Master de Educación, CAP or equivalent – the Spanish teaching Certificate for Secondary Education.
Spanish nationality.
Very good level of English (C1 or equivalent).
Recent experience as a Lengua/Spanish teacher in either the Spanish or British system or both.
The ability to use a range of learning strategies to cater for the needs of every student.
High expectations of pupils’ effort and behaviour.
Strong team player skills willing to collaborate with other colleagues and to share planning and resources.
Be motivated and show initiative to contribute to the success of the department and the wider life of the school.
Other preferable but not essential criteria:
Previous experience of an international school
